Léo Houziaux (born March 23, 1932 in Rochefort ) is a Belgian astronomer .
He is the founder of the Faculty of Astrophysics at the University of Mons and worked at the University of Liège .
In 1980 he discovered a total of three asteroids , all together with Henri Debehogne . In 2017 an asteroid was named after him: (24945) Houziaux .
