Tim Fuchs (born August 3, 1997 in Ulm ) is a German ski jumper who competes for SC Degenfeld .

Career

Fuchs' debut in international competition took place on September 28th and 29th, 2012 as part of the Alpine Cup in Oberstdorf . In these competitions he was 56th and 49th. After several other appearances in the Alpine Cup, he made his debut on August 14, 2014 in the FIS Cup on its stage in Kuopio . In his first competition he jumped on the podium and was third, the second competition he finished 12th. Because of these good performances he was allowed to make his debut in the Continental Cup competition in Kuopio just one day later . In these competitions he was tenth and 18th.

One of his greatest successes so far is the successful qualification for the opening competition of the Four Hills Tournament 2014/15 on December 27, 2014, in which he started in the national group and at the same time made his World Cup debut. However, since he was unlucky to have to jump against fellow favorites for the tour win Anders Fannemel in the following competition , he lost to him and was 47. He also took part in qualifying for the second competition of the Four Hills Tournament, the New Year’s competition, where he was able to however, he did not qualify for the competition as he was only 73rd.

National coach Werner Schuster also nominated Fuchs in 2015, 2016 and 2017 for the national group of the German team at the Four Hills Tournament 2015/16 , 2016/17 and 2017/18 .

At the 2017 Junior World Championships in Park City , Utah , Fuchs won the silver medal behind Slovenia and ahead of Austria in the team competition on the normal hill together with Martin Hamann , Felix Hoffmann and Constantin Schmid .

In the 2019/20 season, Fuchs won the overall ranking of the third-class FIS Cup .

He has been part of the customs ski team since August 2018 .
