innsbruck

AustriaAustria Bergiselschanze (HS130)

The qualification for the third competition in Innsbruck took place on January 3rd, 2017. On January 4, 2017, the competition was carried out in one run under the most adverse conditions with strong wind, also because it is no longer possible to jump on the hill, which is not equipped with floodlights, after dark. The jury was repeatedly accused of wanting to lead the competition to a result without putting the safety of the ski jumpers first, and for this reason the competition should actually have been abandoned.
