Lühr Hogrefe

Lühr Hogrefe (born January 26, 1900 in Nöpke ; † February 13, 1942 in Welisch ) was district leader of HJ area 7 ( North Sea ) of the Hitler Youth (HJ) and a member of the Reichstag of the NSDAP .

Life

Hogrefe attended school in Nöpke and Neustadt am Rübenberge . At the Prussian and German University for Physical Education he was trained as a gymnastics and sports teacher. He practiced this profession in Melle and Oldenburg .

In 1925 and 1926 he was a member of the Young German Order . In 1930 he joined the NSDAP. From 1931 he was leader of the Hitler Youth in the Gau Weser-Ems, from 1932 he was the area leader of the HJ area 7 (North Sea), which occupied both the Gau Weser-Ems and the Gau Hannover Ost. Hogrefe organized a Hitler Youth area meeting in Bremen in 1933. All youth associations that had been brought into line had to participate there on his order. After he had run unsuccessfully in the Reichstag election on March 29, 1936, he was elected member of the Reichstag , which was insignificant during the Nazi era, on April 10, 1938 .

In 1939 Hogrefe was drafted into the Wehrmacht . During the Second World War he fell in the Soviet Union.
