LA Raeven
Liesbeth and Angelique Raeven ( LA Raeven ) (* 1971 in Heerlen ) are two Dutch twins and artists, known for installations and performances.
Life
You ask the question of autonomy over one's own body . In their art they address their genetically determined skeletal-thin appearance and want to draw attention to the mania for slimness. Their direct reference to a disease in art is controversial. You have u. a. worked with Jean Paul Gaultier , Philip-Lorca diCorcia and Nan Goldin and live and work in Amsterdam .
