LATAM Express (previously Ladeco and LAN Express ) is a Chilean scheduled airline based in Santiago de Chile. It is wholly owned by LATAM Airlines and operates an extensive domestic flight network as well as some international routes. The main base is at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, Santiago de Chile.
history
LATAM Express is the successor to the Chilean airline Ladeco , which was founded in November 1958 and served domestic and international destinations until 1994. In August 1995 LanChile (now LATAM Airlines) bought 99% of the shares in Ladeco and incorporated them into their fleet. Ladeco became the exclusive airline for domestic connections in Chile. In 1998, LAN Chile merged the Ladeco subsidiary with Fast Air . The merged continued flight operations under the name Ladeco. In 2001 the company was renamed LAN Express.

International destinations:
- Rio de Janeiro, San Carlos de Bariloche and Sâo Paulo.
fleet
In 2013 the company operated 12 Airbus A320 and A319 aircraft. By December 2016, their number had dropped to five Airbus A319-100s with an average age of 11.1 years. In January 2018 the fleet consisted of two Airbus A319-100s with an average age of 11.4 years.
