LATAM Airlines Argentina , formerly LAN Agentina , was an Argentine airline based in Buenos Aires . It was a subsidiary of the LATAM Airlines Group , which was formed in 2012 from the merger of the Chilean airline LAN Airlines with the Brazilian TAM Linhas Aéreas . She was also a member of the airline alliance Oneworld Alliance .

history

Before the takeover by the Chilean LAN Airlines in 2005, the airline was called Aero 2000 . LAN Argentina’s passenger and freight operations started in June 2005 with flights within Argentina and an international connection to Miami . On April 1, 2007, LAN Argentina became a member of the aviation alliance Oneworld Alliance together with LAN Airlines . The company is 70% owned by LAN Airlines and 30% by Argentine investors .

Destinations

LATAM Airlines Argentina recently served national destinations from Buenos Aires such as: Córdoba , Mendoza , Iguazú , Bariloche , Comodoro Rivadavia , Río Gallegos , El Calafate and Ushuaia . Internationally, the company flew daily to Miami , USA and from Monday to Saturday to São Paulo , Brazil.
