Avian Lineas Aereas SA was an Argentine regional airline based in San Miguel de Tucumán in the province of Tucumán which flew with a trademark license agreement as Avianca Argentina.
history
The South American Synergy Group acquired the Argentine Macair Jet in 2016 and since then has managed the airline under the name Avian Lineas Aereas SA as an independent subsidiary and thus only indirectly as part of Avianca Holdings . Since spring 2019, she has also reportedly faced the same fate as the so-called Avianca Brasil .
Destinations
Two ATR 72 aircraft have been flying to three destinations since November 21, 2017: Rosario , Mar del Plata and Buenos Aires . Ten more ATRs are to be added in 2018 to expand the route network: Santa Fe , Puerto Madryn , Viedma , Río Cuarto , San Luis , Santa Rosa , Bahía Blanca , Concordia , Paso de los Libres , Sunchales , Reconquista , Tandil , Villa María , Córdoba as well as internationally Montevideo , Asunción and Porto Alegre .

As of December 2018, the Avianca Argentina fleet consisted of three aircraft. Both ATR 72s came to Argentina in January and March 2017 and the Airbus A320 in October 2018, while the remaining 9 aircraft that have been firmly ordered will be delivered at high frequency from spring 2018.
