The airport Teniente General Benjamín Matienzo is the airport of San Miguel de Tucumán in northwestern Argentina . It is mainly used for domestic flights. However, there are international cargo flights. In 1986 Tucumáns Airport, which was too close to the city center ( 26 ° 50 ′ 16 ″  S , 65 ° 11 ′ 42 ″  W ) was moved to its current location.
