The Aeropuerto Internacional Islas Malvinas is the airport of the city of Rosario in Argentina . His IATA code is ROS , his ICAO code is SAAR . It is the only major airport in the country that is not owned by the private company Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 , operated by the province of Santa Fe .

The airport is located west of the city of Rosario near the Fisherton district , which is why it is popularly called Aeropuerto de Fisherton . Between 2006 and 2016, it was the hub of the Argentine low-cost airline Sol Líneas Aéreas . The runway was renovated in 2013, and the airport has been expanded to accommodate up to 1,500,000 spectators since 2019.
