The Catamarca Airport (officially Aeropuerto Coronel Felipe Varela) is an Argentine airport near the town of San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca in the province of Catamarca . The airport has been in use since 1972, and a terminal was built from 1981. It has been operated by Aeropuertos Argentinas 2000 since 1999 . Nowadays there are regular scheduled flights to Buenos Aires .
