The Aeropuerto Internacional El Plumerillo is the airport of the Argentine city ​​of Mendoza . Its IATA code is MDZ , its ICAO code SAME . The airport is located in the area of ​​the city of Las Heras , north of the city of Mendoza itself.

With more than a million passengers a year, it is one of the larger airports in Argentina. During the Argentina crisis , the links had been severely thinned; however, the airport has since recovered. The number of passengers rose from 655,318 in 2006 to 1.7 million in 2017.
