The Resistencia Airport (officially Aeropuerto Internacional de Resistencia) is an Argentine airport near the city of Resistencia in the province of Chaco . The airport, which has been in use since 1971, is now operated by Aeropuertos Argentinas 2000 . In 1972 a new terminal was inaugurated. The proximity to Corrientes Airport is special . The airport is also used by the Argentine Air Force .
