The Santiago del Estero Airport (officially Aeropuerto Vicecomodoro Ángel de la Paz Aragonés) is an Argentine airport near the city of Santiago del Estero in the same province . It is the second major airport in the region after Termas de Río Hondo Airport . In addition to being used as a civil airport, it is also used by the Argentine Air Force . Flights to the capital Buenos Aires are offered .
