Avianca Perú was a Peruvian airline based in Lima and based at Lima Airport . She was a subsidiary of Avianca Holdings and a member of the airline alliance Star Alliance .

Avianca Perú emerged from TACA Perú in 2013 when Avianca and TACA merged and gradually all airlines operated under the Avianca brand .
After the parent company Avianca Holdings voluntarily submitted to Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Act on May 10, 2020 , Avianca was forced to cease Avianca Perú's activities and began liquidating the company on May 20, 2020.
