No further accessions had previously been finalized since Royal Air Maroc joined on April 1, 2020. As of 2016, Aer Lingus had plans to become a member of Oneworld again after the takeover by IAG .
China Southern Airlines is traded as a possible member, whereby (as of February 2019) a cooperation as a oneworld connect partner seems more likely.
