League of European Research Universities

The League of European Research Universities (short LERU , German  League of European Research Universities ) is a network of European universities , the top research have dedicated themselves.

In 2002, 12 universities founded the association based in Leuven , Belgium . As of 2010 there are 21 members. Membership is only possible through an invitation from LERU.

Trinity College Dublin and the University of Copenhagen joined LERU in January 2017 . Today there are 23 members:
