LML Supremo

The LML Supremo is a 150-cm ³ - scooter model of the Indian manufacturer LML ( Lohia Machinery Limited ), the optically the Vespa Cosa like. However, the chassis was based on a modified Vespa PX steel frame with a modeled fiberglass front, as was already used by LML NV .

The Supremo 150 appeared in 1995 almost simultaneously with the LML Star (NV successor model), which is now also known in other continents, both originally in cooperation with the Italian manufacturer Piaggio . Even after the collaboration with Piaggio ended, both models continued to be built. In contrast to the Star, the Supremo was always manufactured with the same engine variant until the end. When the plant closed in February 2006, production of the LML Supremo was discontinued. After reopening in March 2008, the company initially concentrated on the production of the successful Star models, especially for export.

Model description

The fan-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke engine has a capacity of 149.56 cm ³ and a maximum motor power of 5.6 kW and 7.6 horsepower at a speed of 5,250 min ^-1 . The maximum torque of 12.75 Nm at 3500 min ^-1 achieved. The power is transmitted via a manual 4-speed gearbox. The empty weight is 106 kg, plus a tank capacity of 8 l including 1 l reserve. The lubrication was automatic. The vehicle is braked at the front and rear using drum brakes .
