La última aventura de Chaflán (German: Chaflán's last adventure ) is a Mexican film from 1945. Manuel R. Ojeda was the director of this adventure film and wrote the script together with Héctor Martínez Támez .

The unemployed musicians Fermin and Moralitos arrive in a small mining town that is ruled by bandits. The dying sheriff of the local police appoints Moralitos as his successor. The place is developing dynamically as new prospectors arrive. Among them is the engineer Armando who wants to build a railway line. He falls in love with Marta, the daughter of one of the miners. Moralitos hands over the responsibility of the sheriff to Fermin, who defends the city against the last attack of the bandits.

Carlos López was an actor known as El Chaflán . He died shortly after filming was finished and before the film could be released. In memory of him, La última aventura de Chaflán was chosen as the title of the film. María Antonieta Pons made her debut as an actress in this film. The production company for the film was Majestic Films . The film was shot in 1942, but did not premiere in Mexico until March 16, 1945.
