The Lachenkopf is a 2,111 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps . It lies between the Laufbacher Eck in the east and the Schochen in the west. South below the Lachenkopf, the Höhenweg runs from the Edmund-Probst-Haus to the Prinz-Luitpold-Haus .

There is no marked hiking trail leading to the Lachenkopf. You can reach it without any difficulty from the high path Edmund-Probst-Haus - Prinz-Luitpold-Haus . The Lachenkopf is insignificant for tourists.
