Ladies Night (TV show)
Ladies Night is an ARD cabaret television show in which only women appear. It was moderated by Gerburg Jahnke from 2007 to 2018 . Since 2019, Daphne de Luxe , Lisa Feller and Meltem Kaptan have alternated moderating the show.
Ladies Night is the only German-language cabaret television show with an all-female cast. Interrupted by the presenter with short numbers, established and less well-known cabaret artists perform in front of a live audience on the stage of the Gloria Theater in Cologne . The audience structure is mixed-sex: the proportion of men in the television audience is 50%.
The broadcast started in May 2007 on the third television program of the WDR . In autumn 2014, she switched to ARD's first program , where it was broadcast six times a year. With the change of presenters in 2019, Ladies Night will be broadcast weekly on the broadcast slot on Thursdays at 10.45 p.m., alternating with Nuhr on Erste , extra 3 and PussyTerror TV .
