Lady Ruano (born March 5, 1981 in Carmen de Carupa Cundinamarca ) is a Colombian table tennis player . She took from 2004 to 2016 at six world championships and at the individual competition of the Olympic Games in 2016 in part.
Career
In 2004 Lady Ruano took part in a world championship for the first time . After that, she took an eight-year break from competitive table tennis to study sports science . From 2012 to 2016 she was represented at all world championships again, but never came close to medal ranks.
In April 2016 she played successfully in the Latin American continental tournament in Santiago de Chile and thus qualified for participation in the individual competition of the 2016 Olympic Games . Here she was eliminated in the first round against the Czech Iveta Vacenovská .
