Lahti (administrative community)
The administrative community Lahti ( Finnish Lahden seutukunta ) is the only administrative community ( seutukunta ) in the Finnish landscape of Päijät-Häme . The following nine cities and municipalities belong to it :
- Asikkala
- Hartola
- Heinola
- Hollola (with Hämeenkoski, incorporated in 2016 )
- Kärkölä
- Lahti (with Nastola, which was incorporated in 2016 )
- Orimattila (with Artjärvi, which was incorporated in 2011 )
- Padasjoki
- Sysmä
About 201,000 people live in the region.
The current administrative community emerged in 2010 from a merger of the previous administrative communities Heinola and Lahti.
