Heinola |
Heinola [ ˈhɛi̯nɔlɑ ] is a city in southern Finland . It is located 30 kilometers northeast of Lahti and 138 km from Helsinki .

The Aschan House (Aschanin talo) with a small garden and free lido on the Ruotsalainen Lake is well worth seeing . A railway line of the Finnish railway VR-Yhtymä also leads to Lahti , which is reserved for freight traffic, but is sometimes used by special trains.
From 1999 to 2010 the Sauna World Championship was held annually in Heinola .
