Lambert Anthony High

Lambert Anthony Hoch (born February 6, 1903 in Elkton , South Dakota , † June 27, 1990 ) was an American clergyman and bishop of Sioux Falls .

Life

Lambert Anthony High received on 30 May 1928, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope Pius XII appointed him on January 23, 1952 Bishop of Bishop von Bismarck . He was ordained episcopal by the Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Amleto Giovanni Cicognani , on March 25 of the same year; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Sioux Falls , William Otterwell Brady , and the Bishop of Crookston , Francis Joseph Schenk .

Pope Pius XII appointed him bishop of Sioux Falls on November 27, 1956 . The inauguration took place on December 5th of the same year.

Pope Paul VI accepted his age-related resignation on June 13, 1978.
