Lambert Huys (born August 26, 1908 in Ankum ; † May 26, 1992 in Lüneburg ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

After graduating from the Carolinum in Osnabrück in 1929, Huys studied history, German and Latin in Münster and Innsbruck . During his studies he became a member of the Catholic student association K.St.V. Osning Münster in the KV . From 1938 he was a teacher at the Wilhelm Raabe School in Lüneburg . In addition, he was involved in sports youth work. He was a soldier in World War II.

Political party

Huys was a member of the CDU and in the 1950s was its district chairman for Lüneburg city and country and deputy district chairman.

MP

Huys was a member of the German Bundestag from 1957 to 1972. He represented the constituency of Lüneburg - Dannenberg in parliament.
