Lamscheid is a part of the community of Leiningen in the Rhein-Hunsrück district in Rhineland-Palatinate . Until 1969 Lamscheid was an independent municipality.
geography
Lamscheid is located in the eastern part of the Hunsrück approx. 2 km west of the A 61 motorway , directly on the Schinderhannes cycle path .
history
On June 7, 1969 Lamscheid was incorporated into the community of Leiningen.
