The road begins on the northern edge of Woodridge as a northern continuation of Wanneroo Road (S60). From there it runs parallel to the coast of the Indian Ocean at a distance of about 5 km from this to the coastal town of Lancelin.
About 6 km southeast of this place, the Indian Ocean Drive (S60) branches off to the north, which meets the Brand Highway (R1) south of Dongara . Lancelin Road ends in the center of Lancelin.
