The Traunstein Regional Court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in Traunstein in what is now the Traunstein district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .
history
Traunstein has been the court of the Bavarian dukes since the two Erharting treaties of 1254 and 1275 . In 1803, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the Traunstein Regional Court (older order) was established. This was assigned to the Salzachkreis in 1808 , the capital of which was Burghausen . In 1817 the district court of Traunstein came to the Isarkkreis . In 1879 what was then the Traunstein Regional Court was converted into the Traunstein District Court . The Regional Court of Traunstein , also formed in 1879 as a result of the unified court constitution of 1877, succeeded the previous (since 1857) District Court of Traunstein as the higher instance for the district courts assigned to it.
