The Landor River is a river in the Gascoyne region in the center of the Australian state of Western Australia .

The river rises north of Mount Erong in the Talbot Divide and flows north to its confluence with the Gascoyne River at Landor .

history
The first European to discover the river was surveyor Henry Carey in 1882 . Presumably he named it after the famous barrister from Perth , EW Landor .
