Lang Jeffries

Lang Jeffries (actually William Loppin , born June 7, 1930 in Ontario , Canada , † February 12, 1987 in Huntington Beach , California ) was a Canadian actor .

Life

Jeffries lived in Michigan for a while before starting his military service. As a soldier, he took part in the Battle of Inchon in the Korean War, where he was one of only three survivors of a landing operation in an attack led by General Douglas MacArthur .

In 1958 he appeared for the first time as an actor: By 1960 he played Skip Johnson in 73 episodes in the television series Rescue 8 . He then began leading a successful series of films in Europe, especially in Italy. Until 1965 he was mainly in sandal films (sometimes performed as Jeffrey Lang ), then in agent films and in his most famous role in Germany as the title hero of Perry Rhodan - SOS from space . In 1971 he made his last European film; after that he only appeared in action films three times . During his career he also played guest roles in television series.

Jeffries was married to his colleague Rhonda Fleming in the third of six marriages from 1960 to 1962 .
