The Langeckberg ( 1,423  m ) (according to AVF 1,414 m) is an isolated mountain in front of the massif of the Wilden Lochberg with the Schattlahnerkopf to the north, which lies south of the path (partly forest road) that leads from Wildbad Kreuth via the Langenau and the Neue Klause leads to the Archduke Johann Klause . It is located in the Mangfall Mountains in the Bavarian Prealps . The mountain, which is separated from the Wild Lochberg by the Bayrbachtal, has a free meadow summit.

Alpinism

The mountain is climbed in 45 minutes from the Bayrbachalm over the western slopes. There is extensive rugged terrain on the north side .
