The Langeoog is a former motor lifeboat of the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked People (DGzRS).

It was stationed on the North Sea island of Langeoog between March 1, 1945 and July 22, 1980 . The foreman of the regular crew of three was Hillrich Kuper from 1945 to 1973 and Heinrich Leiß from 1973 to 1980. When it was decommissioned, the Langeoog was replaced by the Hans Lüken . Since then, the Langeoog has been exhibited and accessible as a museum ship in the spa center in front of the Haus der Insel .

The 14 meter long and 4.55 meter wide ship, built in 1944 at the Pahl shipyard in Hamburg-Finkenwerder , has a steel hull and is equipped with radio, echo sounder and radar. The draft of the Langeoog , which is equipped with a 150 hp machine and has a top speed of 8.5 knots, is 1.38 meters.
