The Langeoog I is a ferry that serves the North Sea island of Langeoog . It drives from Bensersieler Hafen to the North Sea island of Langeoog.

The ship

The ship was built in 1968 as a ferry for Langeoog. Until 1979 it was one of the main ferries, since 1979 it has supplemented Langeoog III and Langeoog IV on their journeys or replaces them in the event of failure.

Langeoog I is a pure passenger ferry. Today the ship is mainly used for excursions.

Predecessor ships

Two other ships already operated to Langeoog under the same name from 1896 to 1951 and 1956 to 1968 . Today's Etta von Dangast operated between the island and Bensersiel from 1956 to 1968 .
