The Langeoog III is one of the two main ferries that operate between the North Sea island of Langeoog and the mainland port of Bensersiel .
The ship was built at the Julius Diedrich shipyard in Oldersum and is a pure passenger ferry. Apart from people, only their luggage is transported, which is transported to the foredeck in small containers with an e-cart.

Predecessor ship
The predecessor ship of the Langeoog III by name was the Langeoog III , which served Langeoog from 1927 to 1939.
