Right headwaters of the Wester

The Lange Bach is the south-eastern or right, around 4 km long headwaters of the Wester in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

The stream rises in the Arnsberger Wald nature park about 500 m north-northeast from the highest point of the Warsteiner urban area and the entire nature park (580.9 m above sea level ). Its source , which lies in the Warsteiner Forest, the eastern part of the nature park, at the northern end of the Hessengraben at an altitude of about 540 m, is called the Hubertusquelle . After a few hundred meters, the Langer Bach flows into a small raised bog (Bösenbruch). At the northern end of the high moor, the Langer Bach rises again and flows in a north-easterly direction, then swings in a wide arc to the north-west. Just a little south of Warstein it joins the Wideybach to the Wester .

The Langer Bach has a catchment area of 4.32 km² .
