The Wideybach is the southwestern headwaters of the Wester in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

The stream rises in the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park just a few kilometers north of Meschede- Eversberg am Niekopf (551 m above sea level ). Only a few hundred meters southeast of the mountain top which is source of Wideybachs in around 540 m. Above or southeast of the source is the Moosbruch, a raised bog on the northwest slope of the highest point (580.9 m above sea level) in the Warsteiner urban area. Initially, it flows a little to the west, then turns in an elongated right-hand arc and along the B 55 to the northeast. Flowing past the Warsteiner Brewery , it joins just a little south of Warstein with the Long Bach to the Wester .

The Wideybach has a 7.13 km² catchment area.
