Langmann & Partner Powerteam
The Langmann & Partner Powerteam is a community consisting of around 30 athletes from the fields of cycling and running in Styria .
It was founded in 2010 by Alfred Langmann - the owner of "Langmann & Partner Finanzdienstleistungs GmbH", which is also the namesake. Since then he has also acted as a team sponsor. The team coordinator is the extreme athlete Eduard Fuchs .
Although some members have dedicated themselves to popular sport , members regularly find themselves on the podium . The team achieved widespread media coverage by winning the “ Race Around Austria ” in 2010, 2011 and 2012 as well as by handing over checks to charitable campaigns such as the “ Licht ins Dunkel ” campaign, where at the end of a season the respective placements are calculated using a key Check for several thousand euros is given by the team sponsor and a member of the team.
The most successful members include:
- Thomas Stindl (winning the Ultra Bike Marathon - World Cup ) and
- Eduard Fuchs (three-time winner of the Race Around Austria )
In addition to around 20 permanent members, well-known athletes regularly compete for the team, including Veronika Windisch , vice European champion and multiple national champion in the short track .
Before the team was founded, individual athletes started for Langmann. Including the pro - triathlete Dietmar Melmer (triathlon world champion in class 45).
