Lara Berger (born November 2, 2001 in Tübingen ) is a German volleyball player . The outside attacker has been playing for Bundesliga club Allianz MTV Stuttgart again since 2019 .

Career

Berger began her career at TSG Tübingen . In 2015 she joined the Tübinger Modell Association. There she played in the regional league. At the same time, she had a double play right for the youngsters from Allianz MTV Stuttgart . In June 2015, Berger was appointed to the junior national team for the first time. In 2017 she moved to VC Olympia Berlin , with whom she played in the first division. In the 2018/19 season she was also used with the second division club SG Rotation Prenzlauer Berg with a double play right . In Berlin, she was retrained from a middle blocker to a diagonal attacker. In 2019 she moved back to Stuttgart, where she is part of the Bundesliga squad as an outside attacker. With the club she reached the final of the DVV-Pokal 2019/20 , which Stuttgart lost to Dresdner SC . When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, the team was in second place in the table.
