Lars-Arne Dannenberg

Lars-Arne Dannenberg (* 1971 in Greifswald ) is a German historian , editor and author .

Life

Dannenberg first studied law. He then continued his studies in Middle History and Economic and Social History. He then worked as a research assistant at the Technical University of Dresden , the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and the Saxon Academy of Sciences . In 2007, Dannenberg was awarded a doctorate by writing a thesis on the law of the religious in decretalism of the 12th and 13th centuries at the TZ Dresden. phil. PhD .

Dannenberg deals with the history of the church and law as well as the history of Upper Lusatia, Bohemia, Silesia and Saxony in particular.

He is vice-president of the Upper Lusatian Society of Sciences and a member of the historical commission of the Saxon nobility , a member of the specialist work group “Heimatpflege” in the cultural advisory board of the Upper Lusatia-Lower Silesia cultural area and the board of trustees of the Silesian Cultural Works Foundation .

In 2013 he founded Via Regia-Verlag and, together with Matthias Donath, the Center for Culture // History, which is dedicated to research, exhibitions, publications and other fields of activity.

Since 2015 he has been editor and publisher of Sächsische Heimatblätter together with Matthias Donath . He is also the publisher and editor of the New Lusatian Magazine . Dannenberg lives in Königsbrück .
