Lars-Broder Wedge

Lars-Broder Keil (* 1963 in Bad Dürrenberg ) is a German journalist and book author.

Career

Lars-Broder Keil studied journalism in Leipzig . Since 1989 he wrote a. a. for the Free World , Die Zeit and the World on Sunday . In 1991/92 he worked at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences. From 1992 to 1998, Keil worked as a freelance writer. Since 1999 he has been an editor in the Politics department of the Berliner Morgenpost with a focus on contemporary history and social policy, since 2001 editor in the World Domestic Policy department , here with a focus on contemporary history and internal security. At both Berliner Morgenpost and Die Welt he is the initiator and editor of contemporary historical series and supplements, for example on 50 years of the Federal Republic and GDR, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the popular uprising on June 17, 1953. Since 2013 he has been the coordinator in the print team of the Welt- Group and responsible for political reporting and cooperation with welt online . Since July 2019 he has been head of the corporate archive at Axel Springer SE. For years, Keil has been working intensively on contemporary and literary historical topics outside of editorial work: as a book author and moderator and as a member of the Friedrichshagen eV cultural history association
