Lars Fischer-Zernin

Lars Fischer-Zernin (born June 7, 1923 in Hamburg ; † July 7, 2009 in Bergisch Gladbach ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school with the Abitur , he studied at the Technical University in Berlin and at the University of Hamburg. He completed his studies with a degree in business administration and engineering and received his doctorate in 1948 as a Dr.-Ing. Fischer-Zernin then worked as an economic consultant at the German embassy in Caracas and in the trade policy department of the Foreign Office . Management positions in various companies followed.

Fischer-Zernin had been a member of the CDU since 1962. He was active in numerous party bodies.

From July 24, 1966 until his resignation on March 6, 1967, Fischer-Zernin was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 028 Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis II. At times he was a member of the district council of the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .
