Lars Leuschner

Lars Leuschner (* 1971 ) is a German lawyer and professor at the University of Osnabrück .

Life

After studying law at the universities of Trier and London , Leuschner passed his first state examination in law in 1997. He then worked until 1999 as a research assistant for Peter O. Mülbert at the University of Trier. After the following legal clerkship at the Mainz Regional Court , he passed his second state examination there in 2001. As a result, Leuschner worked from 2002 to 2004 as a lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Frankfurt am Main , before receiving his doctorate at Mülbert. iur. completed. In 2005, Leuschner worked as a civil judge at the Wiesbaden Regional Court . In 2006 he returned to his academic career and worked as an academic adviser at the chair of Mülbert, who meanwhile taught at the University of Mainz . Leuschner completed his habilitation there in 2011 and received the venia legendi for the subjects of civil law, commercial and economic law.

Since the summer semester 2011, Leuschner has held the chair for civil law, commercial and corporate law at the University of Osnabrück , which he has held as a full chair since the summer semester 2013. In September 2016, Leuschner caused a sensation nationwide with his application to the Munich District Court to have FC Bayern Munich deleted from the register of associations “because of a lack of legal form” . In accordance with the results of his research, his application was unsuccessful.
