Lars Schiersand (born February 14, 1975 in Melle ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
societies
Schiersand began his soccer career in the youth of TuS Einigkeit Melle . As a C-youth he moved to Concordia Belm-Powe , stayed there for two seasons and then moved to the A-youth of VfL Osnabrück . After the club's relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga , he was appointed to the regional league squad in 1993. In 2000 he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with VfL Osnabrück and in the following season he played 28 second division games in which he scored a goal.
After Osnabrück's relegation again, Lars Schiersand did not receive a new contract and went to the regional league promoted Holstein Kiel in the summer of 2001 . He played there until January 2005 before moving to SV Meppen . After almost a year, he was signed by Sportfreunde Lotte in January 2006, with whom he rose from the Oberliga Westfalen to the new Regionalliga West in the 2007/08 season . In the winter break of the 2009/10 season he moved to BSV Rehden in the Oberliga Niedersachsen-West , where he ended his career two years later. He played his last game on August 14, 2011 against the second team of VfL Osnabrück.
National team
In 1991 he took part with the German U-16 national team at the European Championship , which was held in Switzerland from May 8th to 18th .
