history

The anger village of Laskau, formerly Laaske, was first mentioned in a document in 1378. From the local history it is known that the church was often struck by lightning, which led to fires. On March 16, 1686, the whole village burned down with the exception of one house. Laskau belonged to the electoral office of Arnshaugk until 1815 and after its assignment, decided at the Congress of Vienna , came with most of the Neustädter Kreis to the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach .

The place was incorporated into the municipality of Peuschen in 1974.

Population development

The population was 75 in 1933 and 68 in 1939.
