Lasse Heinze (born April 3, 1986 in Ringkøbing ) is a Danish football goalkeeper . The 1.84 m tall right-footed player has been playing for the Danish first division club Silkeborg IF since 2009 .

Career

Born in Ringkøbing , Heinze started his career in the youth of Velling IF before joining Ringkøbing IF . He later switched to Ikast FS . When he merged with Herning Fremad to form FC Midtjylland in 1999 , he played in the youth team of the new club, where he made the leap to the professional team in the Superliga , the highest Danish league, in 2002 . After six years as a substitute goalkeeper behind Anders Rasmussen , in which he reached the runner-up with the club two times in a row in 2007 and 2008, Heinze achieved his breakthrough as a regular player after Rasmussen's departure in the 2008/09 season. In the summer of 2009 he was awarded for half a year to future league rivals Silkeborg IF , who had been promoted from the second division. After the loan period expired, Heinze was signed on by Silkeborg in January 2010 in return for a transfer fee of 300,000 euros.

In the Danish U-21 national team, Heinze played in four international matches between 2007 and 2008.
