Laura Giordano (born January 6, 1977 ) is a former Italian triathlete and athlete . She is the national marathon champion of the year 2009.

Career

Laura Giordano started in 2001 in several running disciplines in athletics and then switched to duathlon and triathlon . After a few starts in the marathon , she returned to the duathlon. In 2003 she was third at the European Championships on the short distance duathlon. The following year she was third at the World Cup in Geel, Belgium .

She later switched back to the marathon and in 2007 she was sixth in the Milan Marathon and in 2008 second in the Treviso Marathon . In September 2008 she finished fifth at the Duathlon World Championship.

Italian champion marathon 2009

In March 2009 she became the overall winner in Treviso, Italian marathon champion. On the course, which was not suitable for the best list because of its gradient, she achieved a time of 2:35:36 h.

In 2010 she finished third in Treviso and eighth in the Venice Marathon with her personal best of 2:40:36 h . In 2014 and 2015 she was able to win the Treviso Marathon again.
