Lauretta Masiero
Lauretta Masiero (born October 25, 1927 in Venice , † March 23, 2010 in Rome ) was an Italian actress .
Life
Masiero was primarily a stage actress and received good reviews for her female lead roles alongside many big theater names such as Ernesto Calindri , Lina Volonghi , Arnoldo Foà and Andreina Pagnani .
She began at the side of Erminio Macario in 1945. In her 60-year theater career she was mainly seen in classics (especially Carlo Goldoni ) and shone at the 1954 Venice Biennale with Pietro Garinei and Giancarlo Giovannini , with whom she has already played frequently performed as a celebrated musical comedy trio. Until well into the 1990s she appeared in plays as diverse as George Bernard Shaw , Georges Feydeau and Neil Simon .
In the 1950s and 1960s she also made a number of films, mostly romantic comedies, and appeared in the title role of the adventurous journalist in the multi-part television series Le avventure di Laura Storm (1965/66). Numerous television appearances are also on her list of works.
Her son, the actor Gianluca Guidi, comes from a relationship with Johnny Dorelli .
