Laurids Lauridsen de Thurah , also Lauritz de Thurah (born March 4, 1706 in Aarhus , Denmark ; † September 6, 1759 ) was a Danish architect , builder , architectural historian and topographer .
Life
Thurah was the son of Bishop Laurids Thura and his wife Helene Catharine de With. He was a royal Danish general builder.
Laurids de Thurah married on October 19, 1740 in their first marriage Anna Rosenørn (born July 17, 1714). In his second marriage he married Christiane Marie Kiærskiold (born July 28, 1714 in Krastrup ; † March 25, 1760).
