Laurisa Landre (born October 27, 1985 in Pointe-à-Pitre , Guadeloupe ) is a former French handball player who was part of the squad of the French national team.
Career
Laurisa Landre played handball with the French club CJF Fleury Loiret from 2003 . With Fleury she reached the semifinals of the EHF Challenge Cup in the 2011/12 season . The circle player then moved to Le Havre AC Handball . After the club got into financial difficulties in 2015, she moved to the Romanian first division club SCM Craiova . In 2017 she lost the Romanian cup final with Craiova. In the 2017/18 season Landre played for the French first division team Metz Handball , in which she won the French championship. In the summer of 2018, she moved to Toulon Saint-Cyr Var Handball . There she ended her career in summer 2020.
She made her international debut for the French national team on June 11, 2014 in Šaľa against Slovakia . Landre participated with France in the 2015 World Cup. She won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . At the end of 2016 she won the bronze medal at the 2016 European Championships . A year later, Landre won the world championship in Germany .
